    Urgent-error-16055

    Hello,
    we are using Suselinuxdb, Version :Oracle 9.2
    There is a problem in archiving in production database.
    The folowing output we found in trace file.
    ......
    Destination LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_2 is in CLUSTER CONSISTENT mode

    Destination LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_2 is in MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE mode

    ORA-19505: failed to identify file "/mnt/backup/arch/ISPRO20/-1063755125_1_12802.arc"
    ORA-27037: unable to obtain file status
    Linux Error: 2: No such file or directory
    Additional information: 3
    ORA-16055: FAL request rejected
    ORA-19505: failed to identify file "/mnt/backup/arch/ISPRO20/-1063755125_1_12803.arc"

    So now we moving manually archive files from production to Standby database.It is not moving automatically now.What i have to do?
    I have to set right everything properly by this weekend.

    Please Help.

    The error message is kind of self explanitory don't you think?

    However, you said you're finding this in your prod database but you're having to "Manually" move archive files to your standby. Are you sure this error is in your Prod database and not in your Standby?
    Oracle it's not just a database it's a lifestyle!

    Iam having this message in Production database only not in standby.

    Hi ,
    There r many things u need to checkout like
    1)archive destination directory both on primary & standby (e.g: the directory is present in the path u actualy mentioned)
    2)file mangement parameter

    one more things have u done a recovery on the standby
