    Oracle 10g R2 Network Import

    Hi,
    I am migrating a 2.6 TB 32-bit Oracle 10g R2 database to 64-bit 10g R2 using network import over a 1 Gig LAN. The import seems to be taking long (over three days). Anyone have an idea of how long it is suppose to take? I have set the Parallel parameter to 4.

    dont use import for that much data - just dont

    use datapump, or if its the same os just move the files, imp will take forever on that much data

    Thanks for your reply. I am actually using data pump. I am of the opinion that I should have excluded the index.
