    PASSWARD FILE CREATE IN ORACLE 9i .....

    Dear ALL:

    Please any one can tell me how i can easily create the password file in oracle 9i database on window-2003 Server.

    password file

    Syntax to create password file :

    orapwd password=$ORACLE_SIDfilename password=xyz enteries=5

    this is generally create in $ORACLE_HOME\dbs directory in unix

    find out in windows

    on windows it creates file in ORACLE_HOME\database
    funky...

    DEAR KRISNA,

    on windows it creates file in ORACLE_HOME\database dose not work why I don't know when I run it come and gone not work at all. any help please or other way to do it ..

    go to command prompt and try to use ORAPWD, if you not able to do successfully please paste the error message if any.
