    what is ORA - 00600 error

    i am running my procedure/funtions on SQL
    but its giving following error:

    ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [2032], [8390342], [8390342],
    [8192], [0], [255], [0], [255]


    kindly resolve this error as soon as possible.its very urgent

    These are oracle internal errors and, no matter how much help the folks here may offer, it's always best to open up a ticket with oracle so they can help track this down. It's usually a known bug (memory leak, etc) and they can point you to a patch. You can also search Metalink for the codes to see if you find it without opening up a service request.

    Fully support pbarmak. Whenever you have Ora-600 immediately log an SR with Oracle.
    It is good to provide the alert log, the trace file, generated by the Ora -600 error and the Remote Diagnostic Agent output

    Generally ora-600 is a result of assert. A strage condition which have happend in the Oracle code, which should normally not happen. Could be anything - a bug, a OS problem or something
