    Log Switch Problem

    Dear all,

I am facing now facing performance degradatrion ,
Although it is very vast query (Perfomane Degradation ),Nobody can answer this in one or two sentences
But my question is ,will it provide performance enhancement if i increase the size of redo log file size and reduce the size of redo log_buffer

10 Megs is too low. Make them 100M
Lowering the buffer has nothing to deal wit that
The question does that happend lately is quite reasonable. If so, try to find what is generating so much of redo. But in general 10M is too low on OLTP systems

You should increase the size of the redo logs, but you should also add additional redo logs, so that the logs wrap around less often.
