    about v$object_usage dynamic view

    is v$object_usage view is used only for index monitoring
    or for any other usage? if u have any idea plz give.

    As you mentioned, V$OBJECT_USAGE is used to monitor index usage. It can also be used to determine when monitoring on the index was started and stopped.
