any way to create PERMANENT (301) url redirects in pl/sql?

Hi, I have a pl/sql procedure that is taking in old urls from a system and redirecting to new urls. Currently this is just done with owa_util.redirect_url(newurl) but this method of redirect sets the response status code to 302 which is only a temporary redirect, and it needs to instead be 301 (permanent redirect) for search engine friendliness. I've tried playing around with owa_util.status_line(301) and the htp and utl_http packages but no dice so far; maybe I'm missing something since I'm sure it must be possible to do this. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

no because your always going to have to change code for each different section.
