    Grant database privileges

    hi

    I m new to oracle and i installed and set all the password to common as scott/tiger.
    and then loged into the Enterprise Maneger :http://2003server:1158/em/ it shows an error that "
    [COLOR=DarkRed]The application requires more database privileges than you have currently been granted."[/COLOR]

    Can anyone give me a suggestion to over come this problem ... is Very urgent please

    I think you must give OEM_MONITOR role to scott

    You should initially log in as sys (with whatever password you set when you created the database) and then set up an administrator through the Enterprise Manager console - it should set all the right permissions for you.
