doubt on recovery catalog

Thanks for the support, i tried as per your instruction
Now i am able to conect to catalog,when i try to register database
its giving text box
Recovery Manager application error
with message to be send to Microsoft or not
I guess this is because of compatablity issue (oracle 8 on windows2003) would be the probelm

RMAN> list backupset of database;

RMAN-03023: executing command: full resync

I had the same problem as you last year and was never able to get 8i and 9i databases mixed in the same catalog on Windows. As there was only one 8i legacy system, I opted to use scripts for it in the end.
