Those are some of the worst interview questions I can imagine -- if I was asked those I'd seriously reconsider my application for the job.

How about: "Draw me a diagram explaining the processes and memory structures of an Oracle instance"

Heh -- 30 minutes to memorise that lot and we can all pass 8085 microprocessor interview questions. Especially:
Q: Give an example of one address microprocessor?
    A: 8085 is a one address microprocessor.

To be hohnest, only the last 2 Oracle question sounds resaonable.
I do not really imagine of what importance is to know how to change the SQL promt?
Not to mention that the answer of the duplicate rows question is not really correct, since it supposes that DUPLICATE means strictly 2 identical rows, no more.I am also not completely sure what the second solution to that question would do, but I would not sign that only the duplicated rows will be deleted.

it supposes that DUPLICATE means strictly 2 identical rows,
Well, DUPLICATE does mean two identical copies, TRIPLICATE means three identical copies ....and so on. We, on the other hand, mistakenly pronounce DUPLICATE what would have been MULTIPLE IDENTICAL rows.
There are three kinds of lies: Lies, damned lies, and benchmarks...

Unix is user friendly. It's just very particular about who it's friends are.

    Hi,

There are lots of other websites available for getting tutorial and interview questions. Kindly check in google.

As per my knowledge for clearing any Oracle DBA interview, there is no need to read interview questions. Because interview depends on client's requirement.

Make strong yourself in basic. It will be helpful to clear Oracle DBA interview.

    All the best.
