Context Query: Possbile to use from Front End (ORA Form 6i)

good day!

i am trying to use context query (contains/catsearch/match) etc from oracle form 6i front end. this typa query complie and returns data while using SQL Plus without any error.but it's not compiling from front end.isn't it possible to use context query from frontend? if possible then how.
please show me a way.

If you add to your block an text item, which is not database item, and then on execute query you change the block's WHERE/ORDER BY property with the contents of the item?

i am trying to use also catsearch in oracle form 9i front end.
It Works without any error while using SQL Plus and returning data. but it's not compiling from front end for oralce form 9i.
could you please help me in this regards
