    Hi.

Open an account with PayPal. They will process all the card transactions and send you a statement. Job done!

    Cheers

Wow! as simple as that? Thanks dear...do they serve anywhere in the world?
By the way can u tell me how credit card payment system work pls.
I suppose i nead a credit card reader right? ( like the barcode reader)
Then when the customer pays he/she gives me the credit card, then I swipe it, then what happens next?

Do you mean that the PayPal will bill the customers? when will they
give me my money sale? What if they will not remit it to me

    Hi.

Sorry, I thought you meant for a website, where people type in their details. I didn't know you meant for people actually swiping cards through a reader.

I've never done this before and I have no clue how it works.

In the UK, we have a thing called "Chip & PIN" now, so you don't sign the slip anymore, you type in a PIN in a hand held unit to identify you are the owner of the card. It was a shock when I was in the USA and I was asked to sign slips again. Anyway, the reason for this aside is that retailers get the "Chip & PIN" units which do everything for them. I don't know how the transactions are handled, but judging by the small retailers that use them, I would suggest that this is all handled for them.

I don't know how this works in other countries.

    Cheers

Thanks dear...but i dont get it clear too ...maybe PayPal is an option ...

The goal is to develop a payment system that accepts credit card.
Well it can be manual or automated or online. Just like in the common
    grocery stores or mall shops.

Actually the real scenario is like this, my friend, a manager in a small
grocery store, all walk-in customers (which currently accepts cash payments only) want to accept credit card as another payment
mode/type. So what will she do? Does she talk to all visa card companies and enroll the store?

    Hi

There are basically two things to be done.

1)Validate the creditcard number captured using javascript or something
2)Verify that the amount can be transacted by you in realtime from the bank through a payment gateway .

1 you need javascript search on google for this
    2 http://www.openecho.com/

I think you also need a credit card reader that can interface with apex i am not sure where you can get one although i dont think its that difficult
