    Truncate privilege ??

    Hi.

    Schema_A owns Table_A

Schema B needs to truncate Schema_A.Table_A

Schema B is not allowed access to any other Schema_A objects

How do I go about this??

I don't want to grant 'DROP ANY TABLE' to Schema B, as this would allow Schema B privileges on the rest of Schema A's tables.

    Help......

Consider creating a procedure, owned by Schema_A, containing
    execute immediate 'Truncate table Table_a'
and grant execute on the procedure to Schema_b

    I hope this helps
