    Question Movign Files into a directory and overwriting existing files..

    need help... how to move files in a certain directory and overwrite the original or existing files automatically using the host command?

    I would help if you specified os, and Oracle version. Are you planning on shutting down the database first? Is this a test environment? It should be pretty simple to do this, depending on the size of your database.
