After which the Log shipping stopped to the Standby Location and archives are not generated on the Primary Site Also.

However after i cancel the managed recovery on STandby database and defer the log_archive_dest_state_2 on primary database, it starts generating archives on primary.

Please advise as to how to got about resolving this issue, so that things return to normal state.

Dataguard Issue Workaround suggested by ORACLE !!!

    Dear All,

I finally raised an SR to oracle regarding the above issue.

They suggessted me to upgrade to latest patchset i.e. 9.2.0.8.0.

Has anybody tried Oracle 9.2.0.8.0 Enterprise Edition on Windows 2000 Server?

Revert back with any inputs ...
