    Post ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated.

    Dear All,

    i am creating a new database manually. am facing this below error while i creating it : ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated.
    Disconnection forced.

    i would like to show u the method i have followed,, please anyone assist me to do it in correct way, and up my database.

    i followed lot of blogs and sites they mentioning problem with pfile's undo tablespace, but i didnt made any wrong in my undo tablespace name in my pfile.

    i couldnt able to identify my mistake,.

    kindly help me to improve me as a junior DBA like u ppl.

    what does the alert log say?

    This is the Alert logs msg..

    i could not able to diagnose it.. if u have time please teach me how to do that

    The alert log says you have errors in this trace file
    c:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\admin\ost\bdump\ost_psp0_4908.trc:

    Post the contents of this file.

    thank u very much for ur attention,,

    actually that alert file is so long to post here., i dont know how to understand and read this alert log file,, could u please tell me how to read and understand it,..

    i completed the database creation,. i found that i have done some wrong specification of UNDO tablespace name in init.ora file..

    i thank u again,, and expecting ur reply about my new dought about alert files

    i couldn't begin to guess without seeing the errors in the trace file.
    Just post the tail end of the trace file (rather than the whole thing), from just before whenever the error occurred.

    am so sorry brother,, i just created new database without any error.. so i deleted the old log files... any how in coming future if am getting some error i will post it here..

    thank you for ur response.

    i would like to discuss more about this alert log understanding in coming future..

    kindly check the parameter undo_tablespace in parameter file and ensure that undo tablespace name same in database or parameter file
    aur post the contents of alert log file
