    Exclamation

    When ever I try to connect I get unable to connect to the management server Icscoh(which is the DB name). Please verify that you have entered the correct host name and the staus of the OEM. The DB name is ICSCOH I am assuming the the management server needs another host name? Please help if you have any suggestions. I am running Oracle on Solaris 2.7 and am trying to connect from an NT machine.

    Thanks,

    Chris

    This is how you start your OMS.

    We use OEM 2.1.0 on Solaris 2.6

    setup your Oracle Management server sid and home and type in 'oemctrl' you gets the syntax and usage of the executable.

    Usage: oemctrl start oms
    oemctrl stop oms {EM Username}/{EM Password}
    oemctrl status oms {EM Username}/{EM Password}[@{OMS-hostname}]
    oemctrl start eventhandler {EM Username} {EM password} {OMS host}
