First of all you can't compare Apps Login(http) with sqlplus (TNS Protocol)
Apps login will go through couple of loop like first to web server then to database server for authentication & then coming back.
You can run Gather Stats on Apps Schema to improve server response time.
How big is your Server ?

Hi Atul
Our server is HP server 4GB memory with dual proc.
What is your recommendation for the minimum server config
requiredment to run an oracle apps?
