Thread: Upgrade (Urgent!)

    Can any one tell me where I can find a documentation on upgrade Oracle8 server from version 8.0.4 to 8.0.6 on AIX4.3 platform. Any information and advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

    You can use the oracle.com/support/metalink, they have a bunch of resources on the various platforms, since i am working on NT, i won't be of much help to you.

    There will not be that many changes from 804 to 806. You can use the same procedure that you uaually follow to upgrade the database. There will not be any issues with AIX 4.3. If you want to know the procedure just see the thread started by cravi couple of days ago with the posting sub: upgrade
