Can you please tell us what exactly you are looking for?

Policies and procedures is generic to understand your requirement.

    Thanks,

Hi, iam working with a client for which a new OLTP application is under development, for this application we are having oracle 10g rac database.

I have been told to prepare database policies and procedures for this new environment.

My question is, what could be the DB policies and procedures?

    thanks,

For starters I would work on five chapters:
1- Brief description of database objective, size, etc.
2- Document Infrastructure - hardware, OS, RDBMS & Connectivity
    3- Backup/Recovery Strategy
    4- Security Strategy
5- Document development model, like Three Tier development model including how to proceed to get code and objects created/compiled into Test and Production.

    Hope this helps.
