    Thumbs up created a second database on unix server.

    Hi all,

    I am a beginner in UNIX and Oracle DBA.

    Could you pl. let me know steps creating the 2nd database on AIX-UNIX box.

    Just run the installer again dear....and create new DB with new SID ...or login at oracle id and invoke "dbca".

    Same version, set new ORACLE_ID and create the new database using scripts or dbca. For a new version, install the software to a new ORACLE_HOME and start creating the database.
