Exclamation ORACLE 10g DBLINK to ORACLE 9i very slow

    Hi all,
I have an ORACLE 10g Database (A) and I have a materilized view in 10g based on another database in 9i (B) the problem is that querying this view is taking around 7 hrs.
On the other hand, if I create the same view in another Database (C) Oracle 9i. The time is taking around half an hour.
Is there anything I can do to solve this problem in Oracle 10g??

Do you have any scripts for tracing the query?

    Have a read:

    http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...G=Search&meta=

Where are databases A, B and C? How long does a ping take between them all? Tracing at the appropriate level to include wait events will tell you all you need to know.
    Assistance is Futile...

They are on the same place. Ping is the same from A to B ans from A to C.
