Shared Server Error

An ERROR has been observed in 9i

ORA-02068: following severe error from NCTEXTOERP
ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
Thu Sep 14 14:38:10 2006
found dead shared server 'S000', pid = (10, 6)
Errors in file d:\oracle\admin\oranctex\udump\oranctex_ora_764.trc:
ORA-00028: your session has been killed

unfortunately shared_server architecture had been configured
we have
shared_server=1
max_shared_server=20

is it the problem due to bad shared server configuration or there is another problem behind the seen?

It looks as though it is due to your DBA killing a shared server connection. Had any long running jobs that were killed recently?
