Session to isqlplus as sysdba user

Session to isqlplus is successfull as normal user
e.g. scott,system
http://localhost:7778/isqlplus
I read a document which suggests that use
http://localhost:7778/isqlplusdba
but i was unable to connect as sysdba

can anybody provide me step by step process to connect as sysdba

I am unable to connect as sysdba from the isqlplus window. I am using Oracle 9i
R2 on Windows box. Please guide me how to configure it to login as sysdba.

did you read and follow all of the needed setup in the sqlplus guide?

(i would not recommend using sysdba like this, sysdba is pretty darn powerful,
I'd pretty much limit it to real DBA tools -- if even there (i use it in sqlplus
command line and no where else myself)
