    Automated Database builds

    Anyone help me with strategy for doing automation of database builds using clearcase as version control tool.

    database builds means let us say our version of database is 7.1 I need to collect scripts check in clearcase from 7.1 version to 7.3 version in order to bring to 7.3 database level

    Do you mean the 16 bit 7.1 version of Oracle being migrated to the 32 bit version 7.3 or more likely 7.3.4??? If you are talking about putting Oracle upgrade scripts into version control why not just use the scripts that already ships with the newer version of Oracle?
