    Low Buffer hit ratio

    Statspack report is showing very low buffer hit ratio of 59.23%. I have noticed some full table scans. Some direction to fix the buffer hit ratio is kindly appreciated.

    Following are the details from statspack report.

    Cache Sizes (end)

    Parse CPU to Parse Elapsd %: 34.76 % Non-Parse CPU: 84.66

    why do you feel it is incorrect - it means nothing.

    Are you experiencing specific problems which you have atttibuted to a buffer cache problem.

    full table scans arent bad either, a low buffer cache hit ration is not bad.

    So what specific problems do you have?
