    Hi Guru's
What are the best practises followed for increasing the freelists and freelist groups for a particular list of tables which are in varied tablespace?
    Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for your article Tamil. Its a good experimentation to show the effect of using different settings for freelists. But I am still not clear from this article as to the methodology that should be followed in increasing the freelists manually. Maybe I am missing something here. Please enlighten!

    Thanks

That article was written long time ago.

What you need to know is how many concurrent sessions issue insert/update/delete operations on a table and the response time acceptable by the end users.
