TNS-125560 TNS:Protocole Adapter error
hi oracle gurues
when i wrote svrmgrl in run (win xp) it returned the following error
"TNS-125560 TNS:Protocole Adapter error" with svrmgrl> prompt
i checked tnsfile it was ok . then i check listner by on status comment , it returned

TNS-12541-No lostner
TNS-125560 TNS:Protocole Adapter error
TNS-00511 no listner
The listner suppotrs no services

when i executed start command it returned " listner already running
the i gave up
my server is out of order
plz give me cause and solution.

If you issue 'net start' at a command prompt, does it show your OracleService<dbname> in the listing?

yes it show oracle service started

Check whether you have a tnsname configurated. First test do tnsping in order to confirm it.

thats not going to prove anything or even help, the listener doesnt support any services!
