    8i to 10g upgrade

    friends,

    any light on 8i (8.1.7.4) to 10g R2 upgrade?

    i gone thru metalink note Note:316889.1

    any tips or tricks appreciated..

    If you follow that note you shouldn't have any problems whatsoever.

    Funny you should ask because I just used that note yesterday and upgraded one of my databases.

    Are you confident to do it?

    Do it in dev env a few times and you will know the tricks...and if you come accross any post to this community
