    DBWR writes before LGWR wirtes?

    Hi,

    Under what circumstances does DBWR write a block a dirty block out before LGWR writes to the logs?

    I can't think when that would happen. Doing so would mean that a crash at that instant would result in a datafile block has been changed but that there is no log to identify that the block needs to be rolled back. Why do you ask?
