Job Description: ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

*Provide technical expertise and support for the company's Oracle ERP
infrastructure as well as non-Oracle Applications databases

*Implement, manage, and monitor databases and associated technologies

*Support production environments and will participate in development projects

*Provide after hours support as required

*Provide technical support for the company's production databases and
associated technologies, including Oracle 9i databases and Oracle Applications
11i

*Perform database monitoring, maintenance, reorganizations, resource
management, schema management, and capacity planning and performance tuning for
the company's databases

*Apply patches to fix bugs and/or enhance functionality as required and in
conjunction with the company's procedures for change control.

*Provide technical architecture and design as required

* Perform code promotions in compliance with the company's procedures for
change control

*Work with developers and analysts to support development efforts. Clone
environments as needed to support development and testing efforts

*Implement, and maintain disaster recovery plans for critical production
databases and applications

*Understand and comply with FDA requirements (Validation); Meet all
documentation and procedural requirements. Understand and comply with the
company's SDLC

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 10%, domestic and international

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree

JOB QUALIFICATIONS (Training, skills, experience)

*8+ years relevant technical experience

*5+ years experience as a DBA in Oracle ERP Applications (release 11.5.8 or
newer)

*Experience with: FDA (Validated) environments preferred.

*Requires technical skills including: Oracle 9i database, Olap Analytic
Workspace, Oracle Applications Release lli (patching, cloning, upgrading) and
associated technologies (Discoverer, Express, 9iAS, PL/SQL), backup/recovery,
disaster recovery using standby databases, performance tuning, job scheduling
(Appworx), database design and implementation, WorkFlow

*Experience with Oracle advance supply chain planning (ASCP) in multiple
instance implementation.

*Additional technical skills required: server and operating system knowledge
(IBM-AIX); enterprise storage (EMC, IBM).

*Requires strong analytical skills, performance tuning and scripting skills.
