TransForm Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is currently looking for a Database Administrator with Oracle PL/SQL and report writing experience. The Database Administrator will work on a wide range of interesting projects including the development and support of systems to support high throughput experimentation design and lab automation.

Responsibilities include:
• Installation, updating, and configuration of Oracle databases.
• Configure and monitor database backups.
• Routine recovery testing of Oracle databases.
• Identify and tune poorly performing SQL.
• Create reports utilizing Microsoft's Reporting Services.
• Perform routine maintenance and bug fixing of existing software.

Qualifications:
• B.A./B.S. required and background in chemistry or life sciences strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of Oracle administration experience.
• 1+ years of report writing experience.
• Familiarity with Oracle 10g, 9i, and 8i.
• Must be a self motivated, team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating systems.
• Familiarity with Oracle’s RMAN and SQL Server administration a plus.
