Helloo, any Oracle expert who can solve my problem!
-
Pl. check the following which may be helpfull to you
1. CD Drive - some time due to mirror problem installer dosn't start
I have faced this problem - try with another CD Drive.
2. W2k service pack
3. Display setting
-
i faced a similar issue with oracle8i.
The issue was resolved by chanding the name of a .dll file inside the cd.
But i don remember the actual file!!
-
look, 8i is not 9i, that problem doesnt exist with 9i, so stop giving out that kind of advice
-
I very well understand that 9i is different from 8i.
This was just a kind of possibility that i thought could be in 9i too.

1. it cant be cd drive because im running from local hardisk now !!
2. I'm using w2k service pack 4
3. i have chnaged display setting to 1024 by 768 pixels
