Say i have a exp dump which has exported tables emp, dept etc....
from the XYZ schema, which i dont know.

But when i do Show=y, it doesn't dispaly any username which would help me to specify fromuser and touser.

You could have a look at the export log file or even the size of the dump file should tell you if it is a full export or a partial export

You could just more the dmp file.
-- This was a more from a "FULL" export, done by sys.
    EXPORT:V09.02.00
    DSYS
    RENTIRE

---- More from a user based export ---
    EXPORT:V09.02.00
    DUSR1
    RUSERS
    8192

    -- Table based export
    EXPORT:V09.02.00
    DSYS
    RTABLES

The D Seems to be the user that was connected that performed the Export.
the R seems to be the mode (ENTIRE, USER, TABLES).

This is why all exports should have a logfile.
