    Transportable tablespaces

    Hi
I need to move data from Oracle 8i server1 to Oracle 9i server2.
My plan is to use Transportable tablespaces because I need to move data only from some tablespaces, but I found that tablespaces are not self_contained . Is there any way still can I use this method?
    Thanks in advance.

......., but check for violations in TRANSPORT_SET_CHECK before doing or make them self contained.
you may also choose not to transport constraints.

I checked using TRANSPORT_SET_CHECK and found almost 128 rows for violations.I need to move data from almost 56 tablespaces. If I use constraints=N , then still do I need to disable constraint.

    Thanks in advance
