Enterprise Manager-not showing export Database option.
Hello,
I've been working on exporting my database.EM only shows me 2 options: export Tables or export Schema.
It doesnt show mw the export Database option.
Also, while exporting tables,I am only able to select tables in SYSTEM schema and nothing else.
Can you help me solve this problem? Are there any system/object priveleges that I'm missing out on?
Thanks.

Use a parfile and stop putzing around with a GUI.
Makes life easier IMO.
I remember when this place was cool.

You have to login as sys as sysdba or system to do the database export or role granting exp_full_database to the user who is performing the export.
Select from Tools>database tools> data management>Export
has 3 options database, tables and user.
"What is past is PROLOGUE"

Thanks for the response.
I gave that role to SYSTEM using SYS account, still I cannot see an option to export full DB as SYSTEM.

Does it have to do anything with shared/dedicated oracle servers by any chance?
