    Angry transportable tablespaces with partitioned tables and indexes

    i have a TAR opened with Oracle support but I was wondering if there was anyone out there who has had a successful experience transporting tablespaces containing partitioned tables and indexes to another instance.

    yes, i know that the transport set was self contained. the import of the data tablespaces completed successfully but the indexes are missing. i have checked dba_segments and know that the indexes don't exist although the tablespaces for them were created. there was no error recorded in the import log.

    Database version is 9iR2. The target database is just a duplicated clone (using RMAN) of the source database.
