IMPACT ANALYSIS

We have an application on Oracle 7.3 and Developer 2000(Forms 4.5 and Reports 2.5) . Our problems :

1. When altering the structure of a table, how do we know its impact in forms and reports?

2. How do we generate a call tree or something similar for this application ? That is , which form is being called by which form.

3. How does one do impact analysis in Developer 2000 ? Using TOAD or SQL Navigator , we are doing the impact analysis for database objects.Is there any tool for this ?

There are about 400 forms and reports. Going through each form/report is proving to be a very tedious job.

why not store the forms and reports on to the db and then do find in sql nav or toad.
