Listener Configuration

Hi,

I had a clarification on listener configuration. In my Test server , there are two databases created. SIDs are ORCL and ORAL respectively. Iam able to connect to ORCL , but not to ORAL. System raises an error "Listener cannot resolve SID in listener.ora" while connecting to ORAL database.

Can anyone point out me where I went wrong in configuring the second database (ORAL).

your listener.ora is configured to listen for one instance only, check listener.ora and add appropriate entry for your second instance
