    I'm new in this field, Can somebody tell me some steps about how to migrate Oracle 8i to Oracle 9i.

    by reading the migration guide that came with the 9i release. Its too big a topic to explain in a post.

    But if youa re new in this field suggest finsing a dba

    Just one Option /Suggestion can be Create new database with 9i and take a user level export from 8i database and Import it into 9i database.
    However, suggest to read migration guides as suggested
