Switching Oracle Client Versions for Quest SQL Navigator

    Hi Everyone,

I've been looking around trying to find out how to switch the SQL Navigator from one Oracle Client version to another in Windows. Say by default the Navigator uses the Oracle 10x Client, but I want to make it use an also installed Oracle 9x Client.

Is there an easy way to do this, or do I have to mess about with the environment paths?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Peer,

From SQL Navigator 5.1 release, Oracle Home selection functionality has been added to the product which would do exactly what you require here, ie in the login screen, you have the ability to switch home on the fly. The next SQL Navigator 5.5 release is coming out in a few days. You can login in our SQL Nav Inside Community to find out more info on the product.

Hope that the info would help.

    SQL Navigator Team
