    Coalescing / Tuning Tablespaces

I have a datawarehouse where three tablespaces keep running low on the amount of space coalesced.

Each day, PERCENT_EXTENTS_COALESCED from sys.dba_free_space_coalesced keeps running well below the 100% mark. After COALESCING the TABLESPACE, the system seems to run better.

Any parameters that can be tuned so this field can stay at maximum extents???

If you are always allocating extents of a single size withing the tablespace then having the free space coalesced or not doesn't seem to me to matter. You aren't getting free space extents that are anything other than an integer multiple of your initial size, are you?

... and change to LMT's with fixed size bwhen convenient.
