    10g instant client

    I have a question for all you guys/gals that have worked with the 'instant client' product. I am working on this project wherein we want to roll out the 'instant client' utility to the users. We want to put it out on the network so that the users can install the Oracle Client on thier PCs by themselves.
    What I am trying to find out is that what are the changes the utility 'instant client' makes in the registry when the utility is installed on the PC? Does anybody know about any documentation that might be available with this information. Also, from you guys/gals who are using this utility please give me your input/experiences (positive or negative) about the utility.

    there is no installtion, you just unpack the files (it is a zip file).

    The user does however need to make environment variable changes, such as TNS_ADMIN
