Did you set up the Management server??

yes Ive set up the management server, now I try to run an application like the console or the dbastudio and when it asks me for the user/pass , and I put in the user/pass that I created while installing the OEM, it gives me the error message.

When you use Management Server you are not connecting to the database directly. You need another L/P for Management Server which is SYSMAN/OEM_TEMP
It´s three tier something like
console ---> management server ---> database server
you are in the stage of console to management server and you use sysman there, sysman is a default user in management server.
