Hi,
I've just installed Oracle 8.1.6 on windows 2000, which came with OEM 2.1.0.1.0 . When I go into the Enterprise Manager Console - with the Management Server and Intelligent Agent running on that node - the Navigator Pane does not show databases, only groups, nodes and developer servers . I've been able to 'discover' a node, but not the databases which reside on it . How can I get my databases to show up here ? I've installed the same thing on NT (with an 8.1.5 database) without any trouble .

which ever database you want to show up, mention that in the node description and discover the node. If it is successful, you got it.. I had a problem here, and I started giving IP addresses of my machines and node disovered the dbs on them.. It is not that complicated, but if you have a problem explain the stage clearly..

Thanks a lot,
I put in the IP address and it found the database .
