how to setup standby db server for Remote DB

Hi, We have a primary database in US, i am planning to setup DRP for this, please help me how do i go ahead for this.

1. primary database is in archive log mode.
2. i have recived a cold backup from US
3. Daily they are sending archive log BACKUP to heare india.
4. they are requesting us to restore drp server over heare.

Please giv me some sujjessions and tips.

follow the manuals for creating a standby database, its not hard

You dont mention version os or anything though
