Is txn_index a tablespace? Is it set to autoextend? Is it really full, or is it almost ready to entend itself?

You need to get a technet account. All you need to do that is go to technet.oracle.com and have an email account. You need metalink to log itars and download patches.

Yes, it is a table space. but we do not want set to auto extent. How do we avoid this kind of situation.
there is no error msg on alert or table space log file.

Monitoring will solve your problem (that is what everyone do)
-
stop putting data in will also solve this
and what is this tablespace log file you talk of? - and if the tablespace was full and couldnt extend you would get an error in the alert log
-
thanks for your informations.
yes, we found the problem it is due to big transaction.
I can able to extend, no problem. but there is no error msg on alert log file.
-
if the tablespace fails to extend, you will have a message in your alert log
