Database configuration assistant hangs during creating data dictionary views

I inherited a database server, and I used the DBCA to create a database. I used pretty much all the defualt options, used the new database no data files option. The DBCA hangs during the creating the data dictionary views.

I am having a similar issue with my dbca install, my servers are running solaris 10 sparc with latest patch cluster installed, 1 GB of RAM and 3 GB of swap.

    An ultra 10 and a sunblade100.

This is what happens with my install:
I start dbca, go through every option and when I reach the last button on the last page to create the database it just hangs, does not complain, does not show any errors.
I look at the logs and the only message I can find there is an acknoledgment that I'm clicking the button, every time I click it a new message in the log, nothing else.

I suspect of some Java bug, but haven't been find anyone with a similar problem.

Have you found a solution ?
