configuring shared server

Hi Davey & Friends,

DB=Oracle 10g rel 1
OS=Win2k

I set up a shared server config on our database.
Using the net manager i make up tnsnames with shared_server connect string.

When i tried to connect to the database with the shared_server
connect string I got ORA-12523, but if i change it to dedicated_server/or database_default it will connect
successfully.
