effects of resetlogs on standby database

Am testing backup and recovery on my database. I delete all my control file and data files and was ables to recover the database. After executing the resetlogs command, i took a fresh backup. When i tried to resync the standby catalog i got the following error. How do i resolve this? please give explicity steps.Thanks-

RMAN-03002: failure of backup command at 01/27/2006 16:00:33
RMAN-06004: ORACLE error from recovery catalog database: RMAN-20011: target database incarnation is
    not current in recovery catalog

Recreate the standby database with the new backup.
